2020 Sauvignon Blanc - Reserve

Drought-Refined Character

The 2020 vintage came on the heels of a 3 year drought period, during which we utilized deficit irrigation techniques to drive the roots down into the ancient riverbed that Grimms Bluff now sits above. The results of our efforts show beautifully in the 2020 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, a true expression of the vineyards distinct terroir; slate minerality and crisp cleanliness abound in this bright and refreshing vintage. Grapes are whole cluster pressed, fermented cold and aged 9 months in concrete eggs. 

Perfect for pairing with Seafood, light pastas, or goat cheese salads, this wine reflects not only the distinctive terroir of the Grimms Bluff site, but also its resilience and meticulous care taken in its cultivation and production.
